These are our official 2025–26 results from the New Mexico Public Education Department, published on NM Vistas. Proficiency shows where students are today. Growth shows how far they moved in a year.

What these growth numbers mean

The state compares each student’s progress with students who started at similar scores. The 50th percentile is typical growth. Above 50 means SVP students grew more than their peers.

How is South Valley Prep doing academically?

Our official state results are published on NM Vistas, the New Mexico PED’s school report card. For a fuller picture, look at growth: in 2025–26, 89% of our students met their reading growth goal on the NWEA test and 86% met their math goal.

Is South Valley Prep free to attend?

Yes. SVP is a tuition-free public charter middle school for grades 6–8, and we accept applications all year. You can apply online any time.

Do students get free breakfast and lunch?

Yes. Through the Community Eligibility Provision, every SVP student can eat school breakfast and lunch at no cost. There’s no application for families to fill out.
